About the Number of Tracks Plaque

At a crossing with two or more tracks, MUTCD Section 8B.03 puts a Number of Tracks plaque on the Crossbuck's post, below the blades, saying how many tracks there are. A second train can be hidden behind the first: once one passes, a driver who knows there are more tracks waits until they're clear too. The plaque is black on white like the Crossbuck itself.
