About the No Train Horn Sign

Locomotive engineers sound the horn approaching a public crossing — except in a quiet zone, where other safety measures replace it. MUTCD Section 8B.14 puts a NO TRAIN HORN sign at those crossings so drivers don't wait for a horn that won't come. Table 8B-1 sizes it as a 24 × 18 in yellow sign; the 2009 edition made it the W10-9P plaque below the advance warning sign. Draw it as a plaque or as a diamond.
