About the Do Not Pass Stopped Train Sign
Where light rail trains run in or beside a street and stop to let passengers on and off, riders walk between the train and the curb — across the lane a passing car would use. MUTCD Section 10C.14 lets a DO NOT PASS STOPPED TRAIN sign prohibit passing a light rail train that's stopped to load or unload. Its symbol counterpart, R15-5, shows a light rail train and a pedestrian over DO NOT PASS.
